Yes Gary it was a great shame that the HDH contingent were effectively down to three people. We were rocked with last minute cancellations. Linda Regan flew off on holiday, Su Pollard got a contract to film some commercials for the Ideal World TV channel and Nikki Kelly just didn't turn up despite promising she'd be there or letting us know she wouldn't be attending so I spent much of the morning looking out for her !!! But these things happen. Like one of the DAAS said, the DA stars are all retired but the HDH mob are all still working so that makes it doubley difficult. I can't help but think that if the event had been held in London there would have been more of the Maplins gang there. Su has promised to attend next year work permitting and we can only hope that some of the others might clear their diaries. It was wonderful so see so much appreciation for Susie Brann, loads of YRML DVD covers came out for signing. A nice lady too. Sadly I spoke to Barbara New before the event but she couldn't come as she is now suffering from the effects of Parkinsons Disease. Apparently Mavis Pugh has Alzheimers too, so that is very sad. Overall though a good turnout from the various shows. Here's to next year !!!

Shame it was such a poor turn out by the Hi De Hi cast. But I guess three is better than none. Doesn't Nikki Kelly work on Eastenders now as an extra? My parents said they have seen someone who looks just like her in the market several times.
